Free, no account needed to start
Twenty-five minutes at a time, or press Track and let it run. Every session lands on a task, a project and your day, so Friday can answer where the week went.

An hour you can name, not just spend
Two ways to work
Most timers force the method. Timato gives you the pomodoro cycle and a plain stopwatch, and files both the same way.
Focus
25 on, 5 off, a longer break after four. The ring drains, the break starts itself, and the session logs the moment it ends.
Track
No target, no cycle. The clock counts up past an hour, a quiet nudge asks if you're still going, and Stop logs the real time.
Minutes, not dots
Other timers count tomatoes. Timato shows the number you'd actually put in an invoice or a standup, with an estimate only when you set one.
no estimate, no bar, and that's fine
Projects & labels
A session gets one project and any number of labels, so “Billable” and “Deep work” cut across everything without a second tool.
A history you can fix
Forgot to press Start? Add the session by hand. Ran long? Edit it. Today, week and month views add up without a spreadsheet.

Working with agents
Claude Code, Codex or any agent with a token can tell Timato when it starts and finishes a task. Its time shows beside yours, never inside your day, your week or your targets. One person, one clock.
See what's in flight. A quiet panel on the Timer lists every run an agent has open, and tells you when one finishes. No modal, no confetti.
See where the time went. Agent time per task and per project, beside your own. If your agent reports what it spent, that lands here too.
Connect in a minute. Create a token in Settings and add the Timato MCP server to your agent. Revoke it any time.

Your time on this task: 1h 20m. The two are never added.
For teams
Claim a task and it's yours until you let it go. Nobody doubles up. Everyone sees the project totals and their own hours. Nobody sees anybody else's.
Hard claims. A claimed task can't be started by someone else. Release it yourself, or an admin can.
Private by default. Members see team totals per project, never a name next to an hour count.
Invite how you like. Email, a link, a whole domain, or paste a list. Seats prorate the day you add them.

Offline is not an error
The timer never needed the network. Sessions queue on your device and upload when you're back.
Installs like an app
Add it to your dock or home screen. Same timer, no tab to lose, notifications when a session ends.
Your data leaves easily
Export every session as CSV or JSON whenever you want. No support ticket, no lock-in.
Pricing
The timer on this device costs nothing and never will. Personal pays for what touches our servers: sync and agents. Teams pay per seat.

Do I have to use 25 minutes?
No. Set any lengths you like, or ignore the countdown entirely and use Track.
What happens to a session if I close the tab?
It keeps running. Timato restores the clock where it was, even after a reload or a crash.
Can my manager see what I worked on?
Admins of a team workspace can see member hours. Members can't see each other's, and labels stay personal either way.
Is there a mobile app?
Timato installs from the browser on iOS and Android: same timer, same history, no store.
Why is sync the paid part?
The timer on your device costs us nothing to run, so it is free and stays free. Sync touches our servers, and Personal pays for that. Seven days are free when you sign in, no card.
Does an agent's time count as mine?
Never. An agent can record what it worked on, and that time shows beside yours on the task and the project. It is never added to your day, your week or a target.
No setup, no onboarding tour, no account until you want your history on another device.
